ASM Teach Terms

These terms apply when a school uses ASM Teach. They add to the general Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, which also apply. Where the two differ, these terms win for ASM Teach.

1. Who agrees

ASM Teach is made by Plazmonix AI ("we", "us"). The person who creates a school account agrees to these terms on behalf of the school and confirms they are allowed to do so. The school is responsible for the teacher accounts it creates.

2. The school account

A school signs up with its Google account so that we can confirm the school's email without sending codes. The school admin then sets a username and password. Keep these private. The admin can add, pause and remove teacher accounts and set new teacher passwords at any time.

3. Teacher accounts

Teachers sign in with the username and password the school gives them. Teachers should use ASM Teach for teaching at the school, keep their password private and tell the school admin if they think someone else has used their account.

4. What schools and teachers put in

Teachers can upload their own files (slides, PDFs, pictures and short videos), write on the board and save lessons. The school and its teachers keep ownership of what they upload. They must have the right to use it, and must not upload anything unlawful, harmful or that breaks someone else's rights. We store these files only to show them back to the teacher who uploaded them.

5. Students

ASM Teach accounts are for schools and teachers. Do not upload students' personal information (names with marks, photographs, contact details) unless the school is allowed to and it is needed for teaching.

6. Usage the school can see

The school admin sees a summary of how each teacher uses ASM Teach: sessions, experiments opened, lessons saved and media shown. We use the same information to keep the service working and to improve it. We do not sell it.

7. The AI co-teacher and outside websites

The AI co-teacher opens only when a teacher taps it. Its answers are a help for the teacher, who decides what to teach. Videos and websites opened inside ASM Teach come from their own providers (for example YouTube) and follow those providers' terms.

8. Changes and ending

We may change ASM Teach and these terms; we will tell schools about important changes before they take effect. A school can stop using ASM Teach at any time and ask us to delete its account and files by writing to [email protected].
